Salary: $80,000-$120,000 per year (Depending on Experience)

Our client is a leading healthcare technology organisation providing comprehensive imaging equipment support to hospitals across the United States.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint experienced Imaging Service Engineers to join a dedicated on-site team supporting a major acute-care hospital in the Boston, MA area.

The Role
As an on-site Imaging Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the performance, reliability, and safety of critical diagnostic imaging equipment.
Working closely with radiology teams, clinical staff, and hospital leadership, you will ensure imaging systems remain fully operational to support outstanding patient care.
This is a hands-on position offering significant autonomy, exposure to a wide range of advanced imaging systems, and excellent long-term career development.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of advanced imaging systems.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and system performance checks.
• Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimise downtime and maximise clinical productivity.
• Build strong relationships with radiologists, technologists, biomedical teams, and hospital stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and compliance records.
• Manage on-site parts inventory and coordinate replacement components when required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with OEM specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment uptime and reliability.
Candidate Profile
Experience
• Previous experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Experience with one or more of the following modalities: CT, MRI, X-ray, Nuclear Medicine.
Technical Skills
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and complex repairs.
• Comfortable working independently within a hospital environment.
