About the Role:
Medical Imaging Partners in Arcadia, CA is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Records/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! This dynamic role combines patient-facing reception, scheduling coordination, and medical records management — making every day both engaging and impactful. Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in patients at the front desk, ensuring a positive and professional first impression
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries promptly and courteously
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments for medical imaging procedures
  • Maintain and organize electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Process medical records requests, including retrieval, release, and distribution of patient information in compliance with HIPAA
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays at time of service
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient daily operations
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a medical office, front desk, or healthcare administrative role preferred
  • Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance regulations
  • Experience with medical scheduling software and/or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
  • Bilingual (English/Mandarin) a plus
