Job description

Diagnostic Imaging Assistant/Technician

This position is full time, 32-40 hours/week, 4 ten hour days with rotating weekends and holidays and evenings. Angell Animal Medical Center has an opening for an experienced Diagnostic Imaging assistant or Certified Veterinary Technician who is interested in Diagnostic Imaging in our AAHA standard hospital. Angell, founded in 1915, is recognized internationally as a leader in animal medicine and has the reputation as one of the finest veterinary teaching hospitals in North America. Angell serves the greater Boston and scenic New England area as a primary care facility, a 24-hour emergency hospital, and as a tertiary referral center. The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant/Technician works to provide Angell clientele with high quality, AAHA standard, diagnostic imaging and related department services. Some of the responsibilities of the position are; accurate record keeping in the EMR and PACS systems, clerical work and patient care modeled after the values of the MSPCA. Veterinary Assistants starting $21-$27/hour Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $25-$30/hr, $5000 Sign on Bonus for CVTs! Please note that candidates with additional experience or credentials may be eligible for compensation aligned with their qualifications.
