EFI is looking for an Applications Specialist/Digital Print Specialist to join our Inkjet Solutions Business Unit onsite in our Londonderry, NH office. In this role, you will support the Marketing Applications department with production and fulfillment of print sample requests, from preflight to final shipping. Work with sales team (both direct and channel partners) to demonstrate equipment overview, print modes and workflow solutions. Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of mechanics, usage and marketing requirements for EFI Inkjet Solutions' product families. Support required tradeshow activities, including configuration, demonstration, special applications and break down. Travel, both domestic and international may be required.
What you will do:
  • Execute highest-quality print samples in accordance with department standards and procedures, including (but not limited to) prepress, production, shipping and customer service activities.
  • Accommodate all demonstrations; resolve customer inquiries and special requests
  • Professionally communicate, prioritize, and achieve targeted production schedules and deadlines within the Company
  • Escalate all equipment-related issues (defects, mechanical problems, etc.) through proper channels and track/close case history
  • Serve as site ambassador to all internal/external stakeholders
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties as set forth by department standards

This role might be a good fit if you:
  • Possess a BA/AS in Design
  • Experience with Prepress preferred
  • Experience with Adobe CS Suite is preferred
  • Experience with Digital Print File Prep is preferred.
  • Print production experience is preferred
  • Candidate should have experience with print QA standards
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, managing multiple projects
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to independently analyze alternative solutions and prioritize quickly within tight deadlines
  • Strong initiative and customer service focus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, confident and capable of executing presentations.
