Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans seeking compensation for medical and psychological conditions related to their military service.
In this role, you will perform detailed physical assessments, review medical records and diagnostic testing, and prepare thorough, VA-compliant medical reports. This position offers full-time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Evaluations
  • Conduct in-depth medical assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
Diagnostic Interpretation
  • Review and interpret diagnostic and ancillary testing results.
Medical Reporting
  • Prepare comprehensive medical opinions using VA criteria to determine the likelihood that a Veteran's condition is service-connected.
Data Submission
  • Complete and submit VA-approved questionnaires using IMA's intuitive, user-friendly reporting platform.
Qualifications
Required
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as an NP or PA (e.g., primary care, urgent care, specialty clinic)
