Summary

SUMMARY

The Radiology Technologist (X-ray Technologist) provides on-site diagnostic imaging services at the Yakama Service Unitย  . The primary purpose of this role is to operate diagnostic imaging equipment, perform radiographic procedures, and ensure high image quality while documenting results within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. These services are essential for maintaining uninterrupted patient care and treatment at the clinic.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITSSalary Range: $82,000 - $84,000Comprehensive federal benefits package available to full-time employees, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan participation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Perform various radiographic procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols and radiology procedures.
  • Ensure image quality, proper positioning, and completeness of all diagnostic exams.
  • Accurately and timely document imaging procedures, patient information, and results within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Comply with all applicable clinical, safety, and HIPAA requirements, as well as Indian Health Service (IHS) and facility-specific policies.
  • Participate in administrative duties on designated days (Thursdays), including quality assurance activities, training, and equipment maintenance.
