Job description

We are seeking an experienced Ignition Specialist (PLC) to design, develop, integrate, and commission enterprise-level SCADA and automation systems for industrial and mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Ignition SCADA applications using Perspective, Vision, UDTs, Tags, Templates, Alarms, Historian, and Reporting.
  • Perform Python/Jython scripting and SQL database integration.
  • Integrate Ignition with PLCs using OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, and BACnet/IP.
  • Program and troubleshoot Rockwell ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and PlantPAx systems.
  • Support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
  • Collaborate with customers, engineers, and field teams.
Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of SCADA/industrial automation experience.
  • Strong hands‑on Inductive Automation Ignition experience.
  • PLC programming experience, preferably Rockwell.
  • Strong SQL, Python/Jython, industrial networking, and commissioning skills.
  • Data center or mission-critical project experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
