Operating as a dedicated team member alongside the Tiger Team Leader and IT Project Manager/Scrum Master, the analyst serves as the critical bridge between manufacturing operations, IT/OT, and technical delivery teams— translating shopfloor and manufacturing needs into scalable, standardized MES capabilities . The role elicits and manages requirements, identifies opportunities for standardization and reuse across plants while balancing site-specific needs, and ensures solutions align with product strategy, architecture standards (ISA-95 / Unified Namespace), and cybersecurity requirements.In this role you will:A. Business Analysis & Requirements: Partner with manufacturing, operations, quality, and IT stakeholders to understand current-state processes (including current-state value stream maps) and future-state MES needs; elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements for Ignition-based MES solutions.B. Requirements Translation: Translate operational use cases into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria; validate that requirements meet business objectives and are understandable to solution designers and developers.C. Standardization & Reuse: Identify opportunities for standardization and solution-template reuse across plants while balancing site-specific needs, supporting a cohesive product strategy across growth sites.D. MES & Ignition Solution Support: Support the configuration and deployment of Ignition MES modules—Production Dispatch & Execution, Production Tracking, Performance Analytics (OEE), Data Collection, Product Definition, Resource Management, Quality Execution, and Inventory Execution.E. Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams on Ignition Perspective/Vision UI requirements, data modeling and tag structures (UNS), and integration with PLCs, historians, ERP (e.g., SAP, Mapics), and other boundary systems; validate alignment with product strategy, architecture standards, and cybersecurity requirements.F.
