Brittany.Ranos@hshs.orgHSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our clinic specializing in geriatrics in Springfield, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.
Practice Highlights:
Well established, growing practice with great community support.
Monday - Friday weekly schedule with an option of either working 4 or 5 days per week
Minimal call - phone call only, no call time is spent coming into the clinic.
Support staff available for each provider
On-site access for labs, X-rays, and DEXA scans.
MRI and CT Scans both available nearby within the community
EPIC EMR
Position Requirements:
Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
Board Certified or Board Eligibility
2+ years of prior practicing experience is preferred, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits Package:
Base Salary: $140,481 with bonus earning potential
Sign-On Bonus
CME Benefits Provided Annually
Fully comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as retirement benefits.

  • Master's degree in biomedical science, psychology or related field is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical science, psychology or related field PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of practice is required.
  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Certification by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants is preferred.
  • DEA license is preferred.
