Your Role The AP External Theft Analyst is a highly dependable, analytical and detail-oriented investigative position responsible for detecting and developing external theft investigations. The role requires the ability to transition from daily tasks to managing ad-hoc requests by the leadership and field team members with agility and speed to meet deadlines. The Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, Asset Protection Analytics.

Your Impact
  • Identification and development of external theft investigations through RFID analysis, enhance CCTV package review, and exception-based reporting.

  • Ability to extract data from multiple sources and be able to compile information into actionable analytics.
  • Utilize data analytics reporting to make recommendations or call outs based on analysis results.

  • Collaborate with the entire Asset Protection department and support special projects involving RFID, Shrink Intensification Operations, and external theft initiatives.

  • Demonstrate strong customer services skills and be able to manage workload to complete tasks with minimal supervision at times.

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Accounting, or Criminal Justice preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience working in data analytics, statistics, or exception-based reporting.
  • 5 - 7 years' of relevant work experience in retail or asset protection.
  • 5 - 7 years' experience conducting loss investigations through data analysis.
  • 1 - 2 years' experience of managing complex projects and vendor partnerships.
  • Advanced understanding of POS, RFID, CCTV, and case management software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
