RN Trainer (Registered Nurse Trainer - RNT)

Job Overview

  • Protouch Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Trainer to lead clinical oversight and ensure high standards of patient care.

  • Looking for RN-T Certified however willing to train strong RN with good experience with IDI (Mental Health/Intellectual Disability Individuals).

  • Opportunity to work in a leadership role supporting healthcare operations and nursing staff.

Shift
• Day Shift
• 8 Hour Shifts (M-F)

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee medication administration systems and review medication records
• Train and supervise nursing staff, LPNs, and medical liaisons
• Ensure compliance with nursing regulations and healthcare standards
• Conduct health assessments and assist with care planning
• Monitor incidents and medication errors and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate physician orders, lab work, and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum two (2) years of Registered Nurse clinical experience
• Required: Experience working with Behavioral Health, Psychiatric, or Intellectual/Developmental Disability (IDD/I-DD) populations
• RN-T (Registered Nurse Trainer) certification preferred; strong RNs with relevant training experience may be considered

• $43 per hour
