Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Arcata, California

Pay Rate: $1,800 to $2,160/Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3×12-Hour Shifts

Experience: Minimum 3 Years of ICU Nursing Experience Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Intensive Care Unit (ICU) contract opportunity in Arcata, California. This role involves providing critical care nursing, continuous patient monitoring, medication administration, and interdisciplinary collaboration while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

  • Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in clinical status, and implement appropriate interventions.

  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and established care plans.

  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using CPSI/Evident EMR.

  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

  • Minimum 3 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience required.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

  • Negative TB screening completed within 12 months of the contract start date.

  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and provide holiday coverage as required.
