  • Floating Expectations: First to float
  • On-Call: No on-call required
  • Holiday Expectations: 1 major and 1 minor holiday
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
Job Requirements
  • Active RN license
  • 2-5 years of Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience required
  • Experience with invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, and inotropes
  • Preferred experience with complex congenital cardiac post-op patients
  • Preferred experience with ECMO, CRRT, Berlin Hearts, and HeartMate III
  • BLS and PALS required
  • Experience titrating drips required
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity, team-based ICU environment
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients with complex and critical conditions
  • Monitor and manage patients with congenital heart disease, heart failure, myocarditis, and cardiomyopathy
  • Assess and respond to changes in patient condition using invasive monitoring and advanced ICU therapies
  • Titrate drips and support ventilator management as directed by the care plan
  • Care for post-operative congenital cardiac patients and other high-acuity pediatric cardiac cases
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, high-quality outcomes
  • Follow unit protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to efficient patient care flow
