Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00) with block scheduling. Weekend coverage required (6 shifts per 6-week period). Patient ratio 1:2.

Highlights:
  • Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and an average daily census of 14 patients
  • Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • 91-day travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period available
  • 12-hour orientation with specialized equipment training including CRRT (NXXT Stage)
  • Float based on schedule with opportunities to work with adult and geriatric patient populations
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submittal)
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
  • Skills in ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, and blood product administration
  • Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
