What is ICF coaching?

An ICF Coaching job involves working as a professional coach certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Coaches help clients achieve personal or professional goals through structured conversations, active listening, and powerful questioning. They follow ICF's ethical guidelines and core competencies to facilitate growth and transformation. ICF coaches may specialize in areas such as executive coaching, life coaching, or leadership development. Many work independently or within organizations to support individuals in achieving their full potential.

ICF Coaches often work with a variety of clients, including corporate professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and sometimes teams within organizations seeking personal or professional development. Many ICF Coaches are self-employed or work as part of consulting firms, while some are internal coaches within larger companies. This diversity in clients and work environments offers opportunities for specialization and career flexibility, but also requires adaptability to different industries and organizational cultures.
