Job description


We are seeking a highly experienced Director, Solution Advisory to aid in our must-win deals and drive innovation working closely with our sales and product teams. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in solution advisory (presales) roles, an in-depth knowledge of the SAP Ariba and Contract Lifecycle Management space, and a proven track record of successful customer interaction. This position requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions to our clients. The ability to present to all levels within an organization is fundamental to the role. This role is critical within the Global Solutions Advisory organization at Icertis. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Solution Advisory, this individual will support must-win deals, and support value demonstrations across prospects and existing customers.
Responsibilities
• Solution Advisory:
Provide expert demonstrations on SAP Ariba + Icertis products, including our Generative AI solutions, helping prospects and clients leverage solutions to meet their business needs. Focus on a tell-show-tell and value-based delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement the right sales strategy to meet customer requirements.
• Customer-Centric Approach:
Proven ability to understand customer pain points, articulate value propositions effectively, and leverage this understanding to create impactful solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
Experience collaborating with Sales, Product Marketing, and Product Management teams, translating industry insights into actionable plans aligned with company objectives.
• Market Insights
Stay informed about industry trends, AI product updates, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth within the Icertis ecosystem, including our Agentic platform.
• Client Engagement:
Engage with key stakeholders within prospects and clients to understand their requirements and challenges, ensuring our solutions meet their expectations.
Drive customer success initiatives to enhance satisfaction and retention.
• Performance Metrics:
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of partnerships and solution delivery.
Report on progress and outcomes to executive leadership.
Qualifications
• Over 5+ years SAP Ariba, S/4 HANA, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, and SAP Business Network experience in a (pre-sales) or Professional Services (delivery) organizations - partner aligned organizations are preferred
• Has a strong drive for results and ability to collaborate and influence in a "Forward together, Win as a team" environment
• Proven leadership skills inspiring people and building the business from small to scale
• Excellent interpersonal skills communicating and collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders at all levels within an organization
• Experience working collaboratively with Sales, Product Marketing, and Product Management
• The successful candidate will be adaptable and flexible, able to work and thrive in a highly dynamic environment
• A passion evangelizing our capabilities and success on social media and other outlets to build brand preference and recognition
• A self-starter who will take the initiative to develop programs for partner relationships, enablement, and growth
• A high degree of passion, energy, drive and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
• Global experience a plus
• Proven track record of successfully managing strategic partnerships and driving client success.
• Deep understanding of Source-to-pay and Lead-to-cash cloud solutions.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to lead and inspire others, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field (required). Experience with CLM or certifications related to CLM are beneficial. • Master's degree in a relevant discipline (preferred).
