Job Purpose:
- The Bakery Icer at Hugo's Central Bakery is responsible for ensuring the highest quality and presentation of iced and glazed bakery products. This role involves preparing various icings and glazes, applying them to donuts and other baked goods, and maintaining the standards of portioning, appearance, and quality. The Bakery Icer plays a crucial part in the production process, working closely with associates to meet production goals while adhering to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ice and glaze donuts and other bakery items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Prepare a variety of icings and glazes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Ensure the appearance, portioning, and quality of finished products meet company standards.
- Operate and maintain icing stations and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Coordinate with associates to meet daily production targets and ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist in filling donuts as needed to support production demands.
- Track and record production counts to monitor output and efficiency.
