Our solutions are designed and managed to not only reduce costs, but to improve business processes, accelerate response time, improve services to end-users, and give our customers a competitive edge, now and into the future.  Position Overview  The Functional Intelligence and Defense Analysis Staff Officer II will support the Functional Intelligence and Defense Analysis Directorate within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)). This role involves providing oversight, policy development, and strategic analysis for functional intelligence operations.  Work Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA  Clearance: TS/SCI Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors  Oversight and Governance: Assist leadership in conducting oversight and governance, including staff assistance visits and compliance inspections, for functional intelligence support (SIGINT, MASINT, GEOINT, OSINT).  Policy Development and Coordination:  Develop and coordinate staff packages that include time-sensitive requirements for leadership to enable functional intelligence support. Support the development, review, revision, and oversight of strategy, policy, and legislation related to functional intelligence operations.  Briefing and Reporting:  Prepare briefings, talking points, and recommended positions for meetings. Produce and disseminate reports and briefings that detail functional intelligence support activities and investments for Congress and Senior Executive Branch officials.  Strategic Analysis and Support:  Provide analysis of intelligence-related activities against the National Defense Strategy and the priorities of the Secretary of War and USW(I&S). Conduct research and develop policy recommendations to support the Secretary of War, USW(I&S), and other senior officials for decisions involving National Security Council directed requirements. Education and Minimum Qualifications  Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance. Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in policy development or oversight related to MASINT, SIGINT, or GEOINT. Alternatively, 3 years of experience in policy development or oversight of electronic warfare or cyberspace operations.
