JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Pegula Ice Arena is seeking part-time figure skating instructors. Qualified candidates will report to the Figure Skating Director. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in all areas of figure skating programs and other events at Pegula Ice Arena, including but not limited to:
The candidate should have knowledge of figure skating equipment and the ability to size and fit properly and will be required to administer excellent customer service to all skaters and guests. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less with or without accommodation. Must complete coach/instructor compliances/training in accordance with USFS mandates and be Learn to Skate USA certified. Maximum number hours: 24 per week combined lessons and instruction.
This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. - Providing private lesson instruction

- Assisting in setup and break down for programs or other events
