Job description

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• AS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, or Cath/EP Lab experience is required.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.

Unit Details: Supports a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Scrubs procedures and performs hemodynamic measurements/recording and ECG recognition during procedures. Uses imaging and cath lab equipment including intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), intracardiac echo (ICE), contrast injector, hemodynamic system, intra-aortic balloon pump, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and left ventricular assist device. Advanced procedures include structural heart procedures, IABP, Impella, and LVAD. Serves as a preceptor and resource for junior technicians and technologists.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications RCES, RCS, (R), CI, CV, VI, RDMS, RDCS, RVT
