Job description

    Promote the Hoffman Estates Park District and Triphahn Center Ice Rink by delivering high-quality service that meets and exceeds guest expectations at the Ice Box Concession Stand.

    Supervision Received
    All work is performed under the supervision of the Bar & Grill Service Manager at Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club.

    Essential Duties and Requirements:

    General Administration

    • Open and close the Ice Box concession stand in accordance with established procedures.
    • Maintain accountability for all cash banks and revenue collected during shifts.
    • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for all food and beverage transactions.
    • Prepare and serve menu items in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Stock and replenish inventory as needed.
    • Prepare and submit inventory/order requests to the Bar & Grill Service Manager.
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in all work areas.
    • Complete assigned side work duties.
    • Adhere to dress code and grooming standards at all times.
    • Wear required uniform and name tag during all scheduled shifts.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    • Greet all guests in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner.
    • Provide courteous and attentive service at all times.
    • Promote and describe daily specials or featured items.
    • Communicate accurate and helpful information regarding park district services and programs.

    • Support and follow all safety, health, and loss control policies established by the Park District.
    • Maintain familiarity with and adhere to the Employee Safety Manual.
