Job description

Connexus is hiring a Contract Specialist II to provide cradle-to-grave acquisition support to a federal civilian agency's Office of Acquisition Services. You will perform the full range of pre-award and post-award contracting actions, including business and pricing analysis of offers and quotes. The position is on-site in Atlanta, GA and is contingent on contract award (anticipated period of performance: one base year plus option years).


Responsibilities:

  • Perform cradle-to-grave contracting: acquisition planning, solicitation development, evaluation, award, administration, and closeout.
  • Conduct analyses of business elements and pricing information of offers/quotes (price/cost analysis).
  • Prepare and review contract documentation in accordance with the FAR and applicable agency supplements.
  • Track milestones, support corrective actions, and ensure timely, compliant deliverables.
  • Maintain Public Trust suitability and complete required agency security training.


Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in cradle-to-grave contracting.
  • Current or previous FAC-C certification (or civilian equivalent) required.
  • U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.
  • Able to work on-site in Atlanta, GA.

Previous ICE (Integrated Contracts Expert) experience.
