Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Site Security Manager, technical manager/leader for a challenging and exciting opportunity to support Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) Task Force Detachment leaders as part of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Integration Support Contract (ISC).
The Sentinel Program is an enormous and complex "Mega-Project" modernizing the entire ICBM weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. The new weapon system includes replacement of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly designed, technologically advanced ballistic missile. It will also provide an entirely new command & control system as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead.
This position will directly support the AFGSC Task Force Detachment Commander/Director and associated personnel. Duties will include: directing and oversight of security operations to ensure compliance with National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), DoD Manuals 5205 series to include JSIG, DoD manuals, AFI's, along with all other applicable federal, state, and local security operations, policies, and procedures utilizing identified best practices and risk management principles. Support program/project managers, and weapon system subject matter experts as they provide professional advice and support to AFGSC on all ICBM deployment, security, civil engineering and command & control aspects throughout all the deployment phases.
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Provide and oversee construction requirements for new classified areas to include SCIFs, SAPFs, and Open Storage Areas
  • Understand, interpret, explain and apply regulations, directives, policies and procedures, manage time, make sound decisions, analyze problems and provide focused solutions while comfortably representing the security team during customer interface
  • Physical security systems (e.g., motion sensors, visual sensors, delay features, etc.)
  • Transition and Deployment Schedule Management
  • Transition and Deployment Risk Management
  • Mission Integration Management
  • ICBM Enterprise Management

Required Skills and Education
  • Ability to understand, interpret, explain and apply regulations, directives, policies and procedures, manage time, make sound decisions, analyze problems and provide focused solutions while comfortably representing the security team during customer interface
  • Senior level of understanding ICD-705 construction/TEMPEST requirements
  • Experience with large building/site development following strict Government requirements
  • Experience leading large technical projects
  • Experience working with Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • Ability to identify, establish and cultivate important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders internal and external to the USAF, including AFGSC, AFMC, AFNWC, 20 AF internally, and Army Corps of Engineers, Air Force Civil Engineering Center, and contractor personnel externally
