Job description

Title: Director, Demand Planning & Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
Location: Remote (Hybrid, in office Tues-Thurs if based in St. Louis or Omaha)

We are actively seeking a Director, Demand Planning & IBP to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!

This role's primary responsibility will be to own the end-to-end demand planning process and lead the Demand pillar within the SIOP/IBP framework. This role drives forecast accuracy, cross-functional alignment, governance, and decision-ready insights that balance service, inventory, cost, and revenue outcomes. The Director will partner closely with Commercial, Brand, Supply Planning, Finance, and Operations leadership to strengthen planning discipline and support the organization's continued IBP evolution.
As our Director, Demand Planning & IBP, you'll make an impact by:
  • Owning and delivering the consensus demand plan, providing a clear final recommendation when alignment cannot be reached.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing the demand planning team while driving improvements in forecast accuracy, bias reduction, and signal quality.
  • Establishing and standardizing demand planning processes, including segmentation, statistical forecasting, and assumption management.
  • Leading the Demand Consensus Review and own the Demand Planning pillar within the SIOP/IBP framework.
  • Facilitating cross-functional alignment across Commercial, Brand, Innovation, Supply, and Finance into a single, decision-ready demand view.
  • Quantifying forecast impacts from promotions, distribution changes, assortment, merchandising, and media with documented assumptions.
  • Providing business leadership input into demand planning technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Quantifying demand-driven risks and opportunities to revenue, service, and inventory.
  • Supporting SIOP, IBP, and executive reviews with clear insights and recommendations.
What you need to succeed:
  • Effectively communicate in English, in both verbal and written forms.
  • 10+ years of experience in Demand Planning, SIOP, IBP, or Supply Chain Planning.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of owning demand planning performance and driving measurable business results.
  • Experience operating within a SIOP environment and contributing to IBP evolution.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate trade-offs and business impact.
  • Experience working with planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, Logility).
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods or similarly complex, demand-driven environments preferred.
  • Experience leveraging advanced analytics, demand sensing, or AI/ML forecasting capabilities strongly preferred.
