Roles & Responsibilities
• We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Solution Architect specializing in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) with a primary focus on Order-Based Planning (OBP)
• The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in IBP OBP and PP/DS, with a strategic understanding of IBP Demand Planning and Time-Series (TS) Supply Planning as complementary modules
• 10-12+ years of SAP Supply Chain experience, with at least 3 full-cycle implementations as a Solution Architect
• Deep hands-on expertise in:
• SAP IBP - Order-Based Planning (OBP)
• SAP PP/DS (preferably in S/4HANA)
• Proven experience in:
• End-to-end process design for manufacturing, order pegging, constraint-based planning.
• OBP/PPDS integration with S/4HANA/ECC (ATP, GATP, inventory, production).
• Familiarity with SAP data models and integration frameworks (CIF, PDS, BOMs, resources, etc.).
• Experience defining architecture standards and frameworks in global programs.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, with the ability to influence C-level and operational stakeholders.
• Solution Architecture & Design:
• Own the end-to-end architecture for SAP IBP (with OBP focus) and PP/DS.
• Design scalable and integrated planning solutions aligned with business strategy.
• Define and validate planning architecture roadmap, including OBP-PP/DS integration and master data models.
• Integration & Governance:
• Oversee seamless integration between SAP IBP (OBP) and S/4HANA.
• Provide guidance on CIF configuration, supply chain model design, planning operators, heuristics, and response strategies.
