Job description

Momper Insulation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Job Site Quality Control / Safety Supervisor to join our team

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to ensure all work complies with company, industry, and regulatory standards.
  • Verify the quality of materials used on-site and ensure they meet project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Review plans and specifications to ensure work is completed in accordance with design requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions taken.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Safety Supervision:

  • Oversee the implementation and enforcement of the company’s safety program, ensuring full compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and internal safety policies.
  • Conduct safety training and orientations for new employees, subcontractors, and visitors to ensure all personnel are knowledgeable of safety practices.
  • Perform regular site safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety incidents, preparing detailed reports and working with management to implement preventive measures.
  • Ensure all necessary safety equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment) are available and utilized by all workers.
  • Responsibilities for warehouse safety, and organization.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of projects without compromising quality or safety.
  • Communicate effectively with construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors to address quality or safety concerns.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on-site safety audits, inspections, quality assurance findings, and compliance status to senior management.

Role Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role related to quality control and/or safety on construction sites.
  • Certification in OSHA 30-hour or 40-hour Construction Safety (required).
  • Certification in Quality Control (such as ACI, NACE, or similar certifications) is a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Pay Rate: $55,000 - $60,000/ Year Salary

Physical demands:

The position requires the ability to walk, stand, and climb for extended periods in various weather conditions, as well as lift and carry materials and equipment on-site. The work environment is typically a construction site, where exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions is common. Evening, weekend, or overtime work may be required to meet project deadlines.
