Job Description:

Arrow isย seekingย a highly skilled and motivated IBMย Hybrid Cloud and Powerย to support our client base in the Americas region. This role will provide lead efforts in partner enablement & recruitment and technicalย expertiseย in support of pre-sales activities. This person willย assistย in the IBMย Hybrid Cloud and Powerย sales cycle including partner and customer discovery, analysis, design, demonstration, and refinement of technology solutions. There is a technical emphasis on offerings including OpenShift, Hybrid Cloud, on-prem and deployments. โ€ฏThis role involves supporting sales teams, presenting technical demonstrations, and providing productย expertise. The successful candidate will develop general knowledge across all IBMย Hybrid Cloud and Powerย offerings with a focus on Modernization and IT areas generally and may alsoย assistย in responding to customer proposals asย required.โ€ฏย 

As an IBMย Hybrid Cloud and Power, you willย be responsible forย leading partnerย Cloud and Powerย conversations to drive innovation, problem-solving, and user-centric solutions to our business partners that are focused onย Cloud, Power,ย and modernized infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams toย identifyย challenges, ideateย Cloud and Powerย solutions, and implement strategies in Arrow Solutions Lab that enhance user experience and drive business growth. You will be working closely with Arrow engineering covering IBMย Cloud and Powerย solutions. โ€ฏThe ideal candidate is a creative thinker, empathetic listener, and skilled facilitator with a passion for driving positive change.

What You'll Be Doingย 

  • Establish relationships with the Arrow Supplier teams, sales,ย partnersย and customers in support of joint Sales, Marketing and Services teamย objectives.ย 

  • Engage andย leverageย all resources, abilities,ย budgetsย and personnel asย appropriate toย accomplishย tasks.ย 

  • Develop and deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate both technical and non-technical audiences about Storage and Power concepts, applications, and benefits.ย 

  • Deliver executive-level conversations for customers and prospects to educate and inspireย onย the vision ofย Cloud and Power.ย 

  • Provide pre-sales support by working with identified Arrow Strategic Accounts and opportunities at a technical account ownership level.ย 

  • Hands-on lab support functions from installation of HW and SW in Arrow Solutions Lab to trouble shooting technical issue with Lab.ย 

  • Must have a solid grasp on competitive space withย Cloud and Power,ย leveragingย knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively consult with customers and partners. Analyze market trends and competitive offerings to enhance sales strategiesย 

  • Provide technicalย expertiseย for IBMย Cloud and Powerย solutions to sales teams and customersย 

  • Provide product demonstrations to partners and/or clients and ensure allย customer facingย solutions are documented.ย 

  • Produce impactful, thought-leadership content, including blogs, articles, webinars, white papers, and presentations, to educate, inspire and articulate โ€œthe art of possibleโ€,ย while effectively positioning Arrow Electronics as a channel leader ON AI-Related topics.ย 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams toย identifyย customer needs and develop tailored solutionsย 

  • Executes technical sales calls as lead or team member depending on the situation.ย 

  • Completes required presales documentation quickly, accurately, and completely.ย 

  • Qualifies sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, and decision-making processes.ย 

  • Presents and markets the design and value of proposed supplier Technology solution and business case to partners, customers, prospects, and Arrow management.ย 

  • Knowledge of job associated hardware, software, virtual & cloud technologies, and applications covering IBMย Cloud and Powerย 

  • Ability toย identifyย fundamental problems from real-world use-cases and to design, build andย validateย successfulย cloud and powerย solutions.ย 

What We're Looking Forย 

  • 4-year degree with 5 years of related experience preferred.ย 

  • Proven experience (at least 2 years) applying IBMย Cloud and Powerย solutions to solve complex business problems andย drivesย innovation.ย Experience with IBM Storage solutions is preferred.ย 

  • A passionate and positive attitude for innovation and continuous learning in the field ofย Cloud and Power, along with a strong customer-centric mindset.ย 

  • Self-Starter: Growth mindset, motivated to work with partners and their clients and can lead initiatives independently.ย 

  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead workshops and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.โ€ฏย 

  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience with IBMย Cloudย and Power ecosystem.ย ย Fusion, Storage for Resilience, Data and Aiย are aย plus.ย 

  • Mainframe experience is preferred.ย 

  • Experience with IBM Storage Ceph isย a preferred.ย 

  • A successful candidateย possessesย detailed product/technology/industry knowledge on the IBMย Cloud and Powerย Systems.ย 

  • Ability to present effectively in front of large groups.ย 

  • Excellent Communication Skills:ย Possessย verbal, written, and interpersonal skills that are engaging,ย compellingย and influential.ย 

  • Certification(s) on IBMย Cloud and Power stackย 

  • Expert knowledge of IBMย Cloudย and IBM Power solutions.ย 

  • Certification(s) in IBMย Storage(Storage Fusion, Enterprise Storage)ย 

  • Certification(s) in IBM Powerย 

  • Certification(s) in Red Hat OpenShiftโ€ฏย 

  • Certification(s) or experience in IBM i,ย Windowsย and Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred)ย 

  • Certification(s) or experience in virtualization & container technologiesย 

  • Certification(s) or experience in scripting or programming language(s)ย 

  • Ability to present effectively in front of groupsย 

  • Clean and credible social media presenceย 

  • Ability to travel 50% or more of the timeย
