Job Description

Description: We have an open 6 month contract to hire Sr. SAP Security Analyst position for our direct client in Dallas TX. The ideal candidate would be local and have the following expertise:

Expert knowledge of SAP EEC 6 for all modules and GRC.

10+ years' experience required with SAP Security 

Must be able to communicate technical issues and solutions to team and/or non-technical customers.

Will need to make decisions and recommendations for security implementations and configuration, optimizing available SAP functionality. Must be able to multi-task, be extremely detail oriented and able to work to tight deadlines.

Estimate work to be done as part of an overall agile process 

Coordinate application implementation and test functionality to ensure specifications are met

Provides technical guidance to the applications engineers and other SAP developers, as well as interface with the project managers, business analysts and customer groups

Works with customer department and internal IT to establish goals, processes and technology initiatives related to SAP security

Develops and maintains good working relationships with management and developers in various areas of IT

Prepares activity and progress reports regarding the activities of the applications systems and programming sections

Provide technical direction on the creation of detailed program design specifications for high complexity user interfaces, application enhancements, new functionality, and backend processes in collaboration with customers, Business System Analysts, and other project team members. 

Supports large/complex projects in regards to security designs, code reviews, development and deployment 

Work with Business System Analysts, Project Managers, Architects, or management to recommend process or system enhancements. 

Adheres to SOX compliance

Creates documentation and flow charts of developed applications

24x7 on-call support of various security related tasks

Exercises independent judgment with little to no direction from supervisor

Exceptional Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required)

Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)

Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive feedback (Required)

Ability to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles which can be confirmed by experience. 

Experience supporting a production application. 

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
