We’re looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineering Engineer to join our team in Dearborn, MI! In this role, you’ll manage and support enterprise data platforms like IBM InfoSphere DataStage, Apache NiFi, and Red Hat OpenShift — ensuring everything runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:
 
  • Administer and support IBM InfoSphere DataStage environments (dev, test, stage, production) — installs, upgrades, patching, and configuration.
  • Manage and maintain OpenShift clusters for data services and pipelines (deployments, scaling, operators, troubleshooting).
  • Implement and operate Apache NiFi flows and clusters.
  • Automate deployments, backups, and monitoring using Bash, Python, or similar scripting tools.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for DataStage, NiFi, and containerized services using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Monitor platform health, optimize performance, and plan for capacity and disaster recovery.
  • Apply security best practices including RBAC, secrets management, patching, and audit logging.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and create clear operational documentation.
  • Mentor junior team members and collaborate across teams to deliver integration solutions.
What You’ll Bring:
 
  • 5+ years of production systems administration or platform support experience.
  • 3+ years managing IBM InfoSphere DataStage environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and networking.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Scripting expertise in Bash and Python (or Perl).
