About the Role:

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support one of our government contracts. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate asset, inventory, and maintenance data within Maximo, supporting logistics operations through data entry, report generation, and record management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with enterprise asset management systems, and capable of ensuring data accuracy in support of mission-critical operations.

Location: On-site at client’s location in Mercedes, TX (No relocation assistance provided)

Clearance Requirements:

  • Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation
  • U.S. Citizenship (required for clearance eligibility)

Responsibilities:

  • Enter, update, and maintain asset, inventory, maintenance, and work order data within IBM Maximo (ILSS).
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of asset and maintenance records throughout the equipment lifecycle.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports from Maximo to support operational, logistics, and management requirements.
  • Monitor and update work orders, service requests, and maintenance records to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain inventory records, including spare parts, locations, and stock levels within ILSS.
  • Assist with tracking asset movements, equipment status, and maintenance history.
  • Perform routine data quality reviews and resolve discrepancies within the system.
  • Support logistics and maintenance teams by providing accurate system data and reports.
  • Coordinate with CBP personnel and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) regarding system access, data updates, and reporting requirements.
  • Follow established CBP procedures for data management, documentation, and system usage.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting logistics, asset management, inventory management, maintenance management, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience supporting a federal government agency or contractor.
  • Experience using IBM Maximo or another Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); IBM Maximo experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with data entry, data validation, and maintaining accurate records in enterprise systems.
  • Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret reports using Maximo or similar systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CBP, DHS, DoD, or other U.S. government organizations
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) or Logistics (e.g., CLTD).
  • Familiarity with reverse logistics strategies and sustainability initiatives.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and logistics performance optimization.
