Job description

We are seeking an experienced Application Tester to support a large-scale enterprise information-sharing system. The candidate will be responsible for system testing, UAT, requirements validation, defect management, test automation, and maintaining automation frameworks.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test cases, scenarios, and test plans.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
  • Validate requirements and traceability matrices.
  • Test web services/APIs using SoapUI and Postman.
  • Create test reports and document defects using defect management tools.
  • Support defect investigation and resolution.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks and test suites.
  • Integrate automated testing with DevOps/CI/CD.
  • Perform data-driven automation testing and use Extent Reports.
  • Write complex SQL queries for database testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare testing reports and presentations when required.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Technology, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of software testing/QA experience.
  • Proficiency in Java or C# and knowledge of software design patterns.
  • Experience with NIEM XML or complex XML standards.
  • Experience with SOA technologies and web service testing.
  • Strong Microsoft SQL Server/SQL skills.
  • Experience with automation framework development and data-driven testing.
  • Knowledge of Extent Reports, Git/GitHub, and DevOps.
  • Experience with IBM Rational Jazz Suite is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
