Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Middleware & Cloud Administrator with strong expertise in JBoss EAP administration, AWS cloud infrastructure, IBM middleware technologies, and Linux automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering enterprise middleware platforms, supporting cloud environments, automating deployments, optimizing system performance, and ensuring highly available, secure, and scalable enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, administer, and support JBoss EAP 8.x environments in Standalone and Domain modes.
• Deploy and manage enterprise Java applications (WAR/EAR) across development, testing, and production environments.
• Configure JBoss clustering, session replication, failover, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Monitor middleware environments, analyze logs, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform JVM tuning, connection pool optimization, thread management, and middleware performance tuning.
• Configure SSL/TLS certificates, security domains, authentication, authorization, and Active Directory/LDAP integration.
• Design, configure, and support IBM DataPower gateways, XML/SOAP services, and security policies.
• Configure and administer IBM MQ messaging infrastructure, JMS resources, queues, topics, and messaging integrations.
• Develop Linux shell scripts to automate middleware administration, monitoring, deployments, and operational tasks.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
• Execute infrastructure maintenance, production deployments, and operational changes following change management procedures.
• Create and maintain infrastructure architecture documentation, system diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, application development, and cloud engineering teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical design reviews, sprint planning, and release planning.
• Evaluate new technologies, recommend architectural improvements, and support modernization initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish middleware operational standards and best practices.
