Who are we? An Introduction
GVEA is an electric cooperative which owns and maintains 3,491 miles of transmission and distribution lines, 35 substations, and 9 generating facilities. Our system is interconnected with Fort Wainwright, Eielson AFB, Fort Greely, Clear Space Force Station, the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, and all of the electric utilities in the Alaska Railbelt, extending from Homer to Fairbanks. What would you do as a Temporary Laborer (8 Weeks)
As a Temporary Laborer at Golden Valley Electric Association, you will support warehouse operations through an 8-week assignment focused on organizing inventory, relocating outdoor parts into cold storage, and assisting with general material handling activities. Working directly under warehouse supervision, you will help maintain an organized, efficient, and safe work environment while supporting daily operational needs.
