What is IATF 16949?

IATF 16949 is an international standard for quality management systems specifically designed for the automotive industry. Developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), it combines the requirements of various automotive manufacturers and builds on the ISO 9001 standard. The aim is to ensure consistent product quality, continual improvement, and defect prevention throughout the automotive supply chain. Companies that are IATF 16949 certified demonstrate their commitment to meeting customer and regulatory requirements in automotive production.

What is the difference between Iatf 16949 vs Quality Auditor?
