Job description

Job Title- Mainframe Security Analyst/IAM Security/ Information Security
Location- Remote
Duration- 12 Months Contract
Must Have Skills: RACF, z/OS, zSecure, REXX
Job Details:
As a Mainframe Security Analyst, you will:
  • Design document test maintain and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking cryptography cloud authentication and directory services email internet applications and endpoint security.
  • Review and correlate security logs bull Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability integrity confidentiality risk management threat identification modeling monitoring incident response access management and business continuity.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and issues perform risk assessments and evaluate remediation alternatives bull Collaborate and consult with peers colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Skills:
  • 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 5+ years of mainframe security risk assessment and remediation experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) experience with at least current and supported version (z/OS 2.1 and above)
  • 5+ years of mainframe security experience using native z/OS and Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) tools.
  • 5+ years of experience issuing Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) commands and performing diagnosis.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 5+ years of JCL (Job Control Language) experience
  • 5+ years of TSO (Time Sharing Options) experience.
  • 5+ REXX and CARLa
  • zSecure tool experience
  • Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies.
  • Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
