Job Title: Asset Management Assistant Location: Washington, DC - 100% onsite role Duration: 6 Months+(Possible Extension) Pay Range: $35 - $40/hr W2 Summary: Seeking an Asset Management Assistant. This role will support the asset management life cycle, including solutions and procedures to meet Hardware asset management requirements. Provides maintenance and operational IT support that includes engineering services for computing systems.

This role will support policies, procedures, and tasks to manage responsible hardware assets in ServiceNow. This role will manage hardware inventory within HHS OIG, including planning, monitoring, and recording in compliance with contracts and OIG policies. The Asset Management Assistant will work closely with the IT Asset Manager to oversee stockrooms, move network and user equipment as needed, and manage inventory and movement of IT equipment in ServiceNow.

Responsibilities: The Asset Management Assistant will provide thought leadership and initiatives to drive consistent performance and timely improvements to the hardware and consumable management processes. This role collaborates with stakeholders to identify best practices for cost savings, process improvement, and innovation. The Asset Management Assistant will: • Perform daily management of Hardware assets within the client environment, including physical material handling, planning, monitoring, and reporting.

• Maintain accurate records of hardware assets and consistent process adherence to drive repeatable inputs and outputs. • Adhere to and consistently improve reporting and analysis for related metrics, trends and performance indicators to inform decision making and resource planning. • Partner with the IT Asset Manager to find opportunities for synergy and innovation in ServiceNow and provide back up support across all asset management activities.

• Evolve and implement asset management policies, procedures, and processes to ensure effective tracking and management of all IT assets, monitor/ recommend end of life dates/ license renewals, and partner with the engineering team and Service Desk team to ensure consistent support of all infrastructure projects/ requests. • Conduct regular audits and inventory assessments to verify IT asset data accuracy and compliance to organizational standards. Must Have Skills: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: • Strong work ethics and proven record of finishing tasks at a client-facing, fast-moving environment.

• Experience with IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, IT Service Management, and ServiceNow reporting and dashboards. • Work onsite in Washington DC and nearby sites. • Ability and attitude to learn ITAM and related ServiceNow applications, including any future releases and new functions.

• Ability to support flexible schedule to ensure coverage of Service Desk& Engineering needs during program hours of operation. • Strong communication skills with the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional departments and teams. • Ability to lift heavy network equipment (50 Lbs.), and help manage and organize storage rooms, prepare equipment for shipping, and unpack equipment through the receiving process.

• Expertise and experience with asset inventories, auditing procedures and outcomes. • Ability to identify and implement proactive process improvements. • 7 years of experience with no degree; 4 years of experience with a Bachelor's; 2 years of experience with Masters.

• One or more of the following certifications: o ServiceNow CSA o ServiceNow Asset Management courses or CIS certificates o IAITAM (International Association of IT Asset Managers) Certifications CITAM (Certified Asset Manager) CAMP (Certified Asset Management Professional) o IAM (Institute of Asset Management) Certification or Diploma • Must posess a Public Trust clearance/position of trust.
