Title: QA Tester
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: 55 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, Connecticut 06107
Interview Type: Web Cam / MS teams Interview
*** Remote role – Some occasional onsite meetings required
*** Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Required Skills/Experience The candidate must have the following skills or experience:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology, exposure to programming in 3rd generation languages and knowledge of software design patterns.
5 to 7 years of experience as a tester for IT projects Experience in NIEM XML or another complex XML Standard.
Experience with testing web services manually using Soap UI/Postman.
Working knowledge of IBM Rational Jazz Suite is a plus. An ability to understand the complexity of a large integrated system and to trace problems to their source
Experience with SOA technologies Experience in scripting complex SQL queries (Microsoft SQL server)
Proficient in MS Excel Work cooperatively with other Team Members including Team Leader/Manager, Developers, Testers, Designers and others Proficient in core programming languages – C# or Java.
Sound knowledge on automation reporting tools like Extent Reports. Proven experience in data driven automation testing. Sound knowledge on GitHub.
