Job Description

Department: Business Development    

Job Status: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Salary-Exempt   

Reports To: Director of Business Development

Location: The Woodlands, TX or Midland, TX

Amount of Travel Required: 40 %

Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Hyperscale Sales Manager for Dynamis Power Solutions is responsible for leading, developing, and managing the sales team to drive revenue growth in mobile power solutions. The individual will implement sales strategies to expand Dynamis’ customer base, enhance client relationships, and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets. This position demands a proactive leader with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the mobile power industry to identify new business opportunities, close deals, and maintain Dynamis’ competitive edge in the market.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may")

  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets in the mobile power sector.
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Address client concerns and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize this data to adjust strategies and identify growth opportunities for Dynamis’ mobile power solutions.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and outreach. Manage the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of new and repeat business.
  • Oversee the negotiation of pricing, contracts, and terms with clients. Ensure deals are closed efficiently and profitably.
  • Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales initiatives with product offerings and market demands.
  • Ensure that all sales activities comply with legal and company standards, maintaining ethical practices in all customer interactions and transactions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre employment drug screening, pre employment fit tests, pre employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Daily overtime required and in person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • U.S. High School Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred. An equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Power Generation background with specific experience with gas turbines and reciprocating engines required.
  • Proven relationships and experience working with and developing projects with Hyperscale data centers.
  • 20 years’ experience in Power Generation experience required.

  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Clear and concise ability to articulate ideas.
  • Proficient in cultivating meaningful and productive relationships, emphasizing interpersonal understanding and collaboration.
  • Strong comprehension of business principles and strategies enabling informed decision making.
  • Must excel in matrix and startup oriented environments and exhibit qualities of self motivation and innovative, out of the box thinking.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products.
  • Adaptability to high stress work environments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employee works indoors in an office setting, primarily sitting for extended periods at a desk station. The role requires keyboarding and repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers. Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while reading and staring at a computer monitor. The Employee must speak clearly and audibly, and have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (e.g., building alarms) from in person speech, telephone, or remote communication. While in the office, the Employee may be called upon to stand, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift; therefore, the Employee should be able to independently lift 25 lbs. No adverse environmental conditions are expected.

Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
