Certification such as Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (CHRN) and proficiency with hyperbaric chamber operation, patient monitoring systems, and documentation tools are typically required. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to calm and reassure patients under stress set top candidates apart. These abilities are crucial to safely administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy, ensuring positive patient outcomes, and supporting multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

What is a Hyperbaric RN job?

A Hyperbaric RN is a registered nurse who specializes in hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). They monitor patients undergoing treatment in a hyperbaric chamber, assess their vital signs, and ensure safety protocols are followed. They also educate patients on the procedure, manage potential side effects, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize treatment outcomes.
