Hyperbaric Rn information

What is a hyperbaric RN?

A Hyperbaric RN is a registered nurse who specializes in hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). They monitor patients undergoing treatment in a hyperbaric chamber, assess their vital signs, and ensure safety protocols are followed. They also educate patients on the procedure, manage potential side effects, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize treatment outcomes.

What are some typical daily duties and challenges faced by a hyperbaric RN?

As a Hyperbaric RN, your day often includes patient assessment, education, and closely monitoring patients before, during, and after hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions. You are responsible for operating hyperbaric chambers and ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed. One of the unique challenges in this role is responding promptly to any adverse events or emergencies that may occur during treatments. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, wound care specialists, and technicians to provide comprehensive patient care. This dynamic environment requires you to be detail-oriented, adaptable, and skilled at multitasking.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the hyperbaric RN position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Hyperbaric RN, you need a background in nursing with specialized training in hyperbaric medicine, wound care, and current RN licensure. Certification such as Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (CHRN) and proficiency with hyperbaric chamber operation, patient monitoring systems, and documentation tools are typically required. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to calm and reassure patients under stress set top candidates apart. These abilities are crucial to safely administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy, ensuring positive patient outcomes, and supporting multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Schedule: Part-Time | Seeking RN with Thursday and Saturday availability.

About Restore Hyper Wellness is the nation’s leading retail provider of alternative health and wellness therapies such as IV therapy, IM injections, cryotherapy, infrared sauna, skin health and more, all in one location.

We have seen sustained growth in our member base and demand for our medical services. Therefore, we are seeking an outgoing, experienced part-time Registered Nurse to join our team of wellness professionals on a mission to help people feel better so they can do more of what they love.

At Restore Hyper Wellness – Eugene, we’re redefining what it means to work in healthcare. No call lights, no chaos — just wellness, balance, and feel-good energy. Our mission is to help people do more of what they love through services like IV drips, IM shots, cryotherapy, red light therapy, and mild hyperbaric oxygen.

Here, you’ll get to deliver cutting-edge care in a calm, supportive space — where both clients and nurses leave feeling better than when they arrived.

About the Role If you’re an RN who still loves caring for people but is ready to trade burnout for balance, this is your perfect fit. As a Wellness RN, you’ll provide IV therapy and other restorative services in a relaxed, client-centered setting.

This part-time position offers flexibility as we seek Thursday and Saturday coverage (~16 hours/week). You get to stay clinical, stay connected, and balance other priorities outside of your work at Restore.

What You’ll Do

Promote and consult with clients on the qualities and benefits of our IV Drips and Intramuscular Injection ingredients and our Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapies.

Document client visits via EMR.

Work with our Lead RN to ensure nursing coverage seven days a week.

Administer IV drips, IM injections, and mild hyperbaric sessions with skill and confidence.

Participate in occasional off-site nursing events (voluntary)

Educate and guide clients through their wellness experiences.

Maintain a clean, safe, and serene treatment environment.

Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate care.

Collaborate with a team that values positivity, balance, and growth.

What’s In It For You

Salary ($41 per hour base salary)

Low-stress, supportive environment — no nights, no call, no hospital chaos

Flexible part-time schedule — Work 8 shifts a month

Collaborative, upbeat culture that actually practices self-care

A chance to love a different side of nursing and healthcare, via the wellness sector.

Perfect For
