About the Role
The Lead Product Manager is responsible for leading a core AI-driven product focused on helping organizations securely find answers, insights, and decisions from their enterprise content. This role owns product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a sophisticated AI and search solution, working closely with engineering, marketing, solution engineers, sales, and other key stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in shaping how enterprise customers adopt AI responsibly, particularly in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, and government. This product is part of Hyland's Content Innovation Cloud (CIC) - the company's cloud-native foundation for unifying content, data, and processes across the enterprise.

  • Maintain strong awareness of the AI, enterprise search, and intelligent knowledge systems landscape; track emerging approaches across generative AI and AI-assisted decision making; apply competitive insights to influence roadmap, differentiation, and positioning
  • Partner with Marketing, Solution Engineers, and Sales to articulate clear product value and differentiation; support enablement materials, demos, release narratives, and customer-facing content; translate technical progress into outcome-focused messaging for internal and external audiences
  • Serve as a trusted product voice across engineering, marketing, solution engineering, sales, and leadership; influence decisions through clarity, credibility, and data-driven reasoning; shape thought leadership and mentor and collaborate with peers and cross-functional partners

Role Essentials
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager owning complex technology products, with strong understanding of enterprise software and full product lifecycle management
  • Ability to collaborate deeply with engineering teams, reason about technical tradeoffs, and maintain delivery momentum while anticipating dependencies and risks
  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and lead problem discovery through direct customer engagement
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex technology into clear business value
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think beyond feature delivery to product value, including positioning, pricing, and business impact
What We'd Like to See
  • Experience with AI-powered products, enterprise search, or data-driven platforms
  • Familiarity with Generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, or intelligent content systems
