Description

ย The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling Hydronic Efficiency Products (HEP) according to engineering specifications while supporting warehouse operations through receiving, material handling, inventory organization, and quality-focused processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are assembled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.ย 

Requirements

Essential Functions
  • Assemble pressure vessel products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.ย 
  • Assemble products following the painting process and prepare completed units for shipment.ย 
  • Assist with quality inspections, pressure testing, and leak testing.ย 
  • Receive incoming materials and verify components meet quality requirements.ย 
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring ASME-certified components are properly identified and stored.ย 
  • Maintain separation of stainless steel and carbon steel materials to preserve product integrity.ย 
  • Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging and palletizing.ย 
  • Operate manufacturing and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.ย 
  • Safely operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, and other material handling equipment as authorized.ย 
  • Accurately use measuring devices and inspection equipment to verify product quality.ย 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S principles.ย 
  • Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and quality procedures.ย 
  • Support inventory counts and general warehouse organization.ย 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.ย

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. The employee is routinely exposed to moving mechanical equipment, noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
