Job description

Job Description

The Hydroblasting Technician understands all tasks for hydroblasting service line including but are not limited to moving hoses, loading, and unloading materials, hydroblasting, chemical cleaning, vacuum truck operating, tank cleaning, and barge cleaning.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform work in enclosed spaces
  • Ability to safely perform work using high pressure water blast equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment (pipe, boilers, tanks, heat exchangers, bundles, etc)
  • Load hoses, chemicals and other equipment required for assigned job onto truck
  • Cleanup work area and equipment after work is completed
  • Practices safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines when working
  • Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • TWIC Card required
  • Valid state identification
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.
  • Ability to climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour day or night shifts.

Must pass hair follicle drug test, physical, alcohol screen, and all required background checks
