Job description

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician / Industrial Mechanic, you will not be doing the same thing every day in supporting production with repairs and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. We will provide you with the setting and tools to be successful in troubleshooting and problem solving - things you like to do! You'll be working in a safe, clean, climate-controlled environment to enable you to perform your best!

*Please note, we are not able to consider candidates who currently or in the future will require VISA sponsorship.

In this role as a Maintenance Tech, you will diagnose and repair damaged or malfunctioning manufacturing equipment using hand tools provided by Hydro-Gear! Our Maintenance Techs work on cutting edge manufacturing technologies including robotics, vision systems, automation, electrical controls, and more. In addition to repairing and maintaining equipment, you will be performing scheduled preventative maintenance activities. Consider this role if you have experience in Industrial Mechanic or Manufacturing Maintenance Technician. This is not a Facilities Maintenance role.

Core Responsibilities of Maintenance Technicians:

  • Installs and repairs manufacturing machinery and other mechanical equipment for production
  • Responds quickly to troubleshoot equipment, fixtures, fittings, etc.
  • Conducts Preventative Maintenance on scheduled basis
  • Follows LOTO and Arc Flash Safety procedures
  • Associates degree or technical school degree/certificate and 2 or more year's related experience and /or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Installing and operating machinery and technical equipment
  • Has working knowledge of
    • CNC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, PLCs, robotics, pneumatic systems
  • Good verbal and written communication
