Job description

The Hydraulic Technician will play a crucial role within a small specialist and cross-functional engineering team, focusing on maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing hydraulic systems for industrial machinery. This role involves servicing equipment across multiple sites, requiring frequent regional and occasional overnight travel. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the technician will have opportunities for advancing technical skills within a dynamic maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair on hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues within complex hydraulic components
  • Install and calibrate hydraulic equipment according to specifications
  • Inspect hydraulic components for wear, damage, or defects
  • Conduct system diagnostics to anticipate and prevent failures
  • Travel to various industrial sites as needed for servicing and support

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working with hydraulic systems
  • Proven expertise in hydraulic system repair
