The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company is looking to hire a Field Safety Professional to join our growing team!Essential Job Functions:Ensure compliance with safety policies, regulations, and standards, including proper use of PPE and safety equipment on-site.Conduct regular reviews of safety procedures, adapting and maintaining them to meet regulatory and project-specific requirements.Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.Assist in incident investigations, OSHA inquiries, and dispute resolutions to ensure accurate documentation and resolution.Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and field personnel to promote a proactive safety culture.Stay updated on industry trends, safety developments, and competitor practices to enhance workplace safety standards.Foster and maintain positive relationships with employees, contractors, customers, and stakeholders to ensure project harmony and collaboration.Act as a safety representative in the community, promoting a positive company image and ensuring professional conduct.Provide timely and accurate reports as requested by the Safety Supervisor and perform additional duties as assigned.Requirements:High School Diploma or extensive experience in the electrical contracting industry preferred, or equivalent training certifications and experience.5+ years of experience in safety management within the utility construction or similar industry.
