Job description

The Membership Team at Carmel Valley Ranch is looking for an experienced, results driven coordinator skilled in customer service, digital marketing, and event implementation. The successful candidate will be able to enhance Club communication through digital marketing, social media, and event promotion while managing the daily administrative duties.

Responsibilities: - - - - - - - - - - - - 

  • Maintain Carmel Valley Ranch brand standards and works to execute strategies developed to improve awareness of the Club and communications 

  • Create, establish, and manage the Club's social media activity 

  • Create and distribute the Club's newsletter and any other large-scale email distribution 

  • Prepare Club's newsletter for Members from input given by each department 

  • Create and distribute various club event marketing pieces to the Members through various channels, including event flyers, tournament flyers, F&B marketing promotions, etc. 

  • Develop strategies to increase Membership retention, increase participation in Membership events 

  • Propose innovative ideas to increase Membership value and improve Member events and programs 

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service 

  • Complete weekly administration duties and ensure compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to updating the Membership files and logs 

  • Assist in maintaining weekly and monthly reconciliations with accounting and membership 

  • Maintain outstanding environment in the Member areas of the Clubhouse and Membership Offices 

  • Promote and comply with all policies and procedures of Carmel Valley Ranch

  • Proven successful experience in digital marketing creation and implementation, including social media 
  • People and customer management skills 
  • Strong organizational and computer skills 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Willingness to perform other tasks as directed, including cross-training, projects etc. 
  • Willing to work flexible hours as needed, some weekends and holidays 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, hospitality or relevant field preferred or equivalent experience. Administrative and Customer Service experience required. Computer experience required. Proficiency in Canva, Instagram, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint preferred.
