Job description

Experienced HVAC Technician

We're excited to offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus for a qualified, experienced HVAC technician who's passionate about delivering excellent service and keeping customers comfortable all year round. You'll be responsible for a variety of work orders, visiting homes and businesses to work on HVAC, Indoor air quality, refrigeration, and control systems. The ideal candidate has the technical skills to identify and isolate problems, is familiar with using hand and power tools, has strong communication skills to explain what needs to be repaired, replaced, or installed, and why. When necessary, you'll upsell and educate customers on preventative maintenance plans and air quality solutions.

Compensation:

$45 - $60 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Service HVAC systems to keep customers' homes comfortable throughout the year
  • Check that the newly installed components function properly
  • Estimate costs of installation, repairs, and services to customers
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC problems, including component installation and replacement
  • Maintain records and complete notes for completed jobs to keep customer records up to date

Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • We require candidates to have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years' experience in the field as an HVAC tech or equivalent
  • Must have good communication skills
