Position Status: Full Time, Hourly - Non-Exempt
Role: Seeking a skilled professional to repair, maintain and install HVAC systems. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for ensuring optimal functionality of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units
through timely repairs, and regular maintenance. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a
commitment to providing high-quality service to ensure the comfort and safety of our clients.
Action and Responsibilities:
  • This position performs service, repair, maintenance and some installation on HVAC systems in a residential and light commercial setting
  • Determines general condition of HVAC systems, and can troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions and determine extent of necessary repairs
  • Repair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install duct work and piping according to specifications and code
  • Wire and connect motors, compressors, temperature controls, and humidity controls according to wiring schematics
  • Relocate and expand existing HVAC systems as needed
  • Maintain Freon dispensing records to meet federal requirements
  • Services residential and light commercial HVAC systems

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques
  • Two to Four years of experience or Air Conditioning Certificate from trade school
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Must pass drug screen and background check
  • EPA Certification
  • TDLR License
  • Possess required tools
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
Physical Demands:

  • Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
  • Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
