Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
  • Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and perform repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
  • Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting and leak repairs.
  • Utilize specialized tools including ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs or modifications.
  • Service refrigeration systems such as ammonia refrigeration units used in commercial settings.
  • Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting all work performed for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
  • Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
  • Operate a driver vehicle safely when transporting equipment or parts between sites.
  • Support the design or modification of HVAC systems by applying HVAC design principles aligned with client needs.

Experience

  • Proven field service experience as an HVAC technician or service technician in construction or property maintenance environments.
  • A minimum of one year experience required.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC/R equipment including appliances, boilers, and refrigeration units.
  • Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to HVAC system installation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems or other specialized refrigerants is a plus.
  • Ability to perform welding and equipment repair tasks safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of plumbing practices relevant to HVAC installations and repairs.
  • Mechanical experience involving boiler operation or maintenance is desirable.
